Abbreviations:

R: round

mr = magic ring

sc = single crochet

inc = increase (2 sc in the next stitch)

dec = decrease (join the next 2 stitches into 1)

sl st = slip stitch

st = stitch

F.O = finish off

[ ] = number of stitches you should have at the end of the round/row

( ) x 6 = repeat whatever is between the brackets the number of times stated

To crochet apple amigurumi you need:

Yarn (4 ply): green and dark green color yarn.

Crochet hook: 4-5mm

Fiberfill for stuffing

Sewing needle, scissors

Apple

Start with green color yarn

R 1: mr with 7 st [7]

R 2: inc x 7 [14]

R 3: (1 sc, inc) x 7 [21]

R 4: (2 sc, inc) x 7 [28]

R 5: (3 sc, inc) x 7 [35]

R 6: 35 sc [35]

R 7: (4 sc, inc) X 7 [42]

R 8-15: 42 sc [42]

R 16: (5 sc, dec x 6 [36]

R 17: (4 sc, dec) x 6 [30]

R 18: (3 sc, dec) x 6 [24]

R 19: (2 sc, dec) x 6 [18]

Cut yarn and hide the tail.

Stem;

Start with gray color yarn

R 1: mr with 6 st   [6]

R 2-6: 6 sc [6]

Cut yarn and leave a long tail for sewing.

Leaf;

 with dark green color yarn

Make 10 chains, Start 2nd chain, make (1 sl st, 2 sc, 2 hdc, 1 dc, 2 tr, 1 sc). Continue crochet other side of the foundation chain ( 1 sc, 2 tr, 1 dc, 2 hdc, 1 sl st).

Cut yarn and leave a long tail for sewing.
