Explanation of the pistil

Start 15 chains and in these do: 3 single crochet, 1 slip stitch. 4 chain stitches and in these make 3 single crochet, 1 slip stitch. 10 very low points.

Explanation of the chalice

The calyx is the same for both the flowers and the buds.

Start 8 chains and in these make: 1 single crochet, 1 half double crochet, 4 double crochet, 1 slip stitch in the first chain stitch. 7 chain stitches and in these make: 1 single crochet, 1 half double crochet, 4 double crochet, 1 slip stitch in the first of the 8 initial chains. Repeat for a total of 5 times.

Cut about 10 cm of galvanized iron wire. In the center, wrap a little cotton (the same used for the pistil) to create a ball. Twist the iron wire on itself for about 1 cm to block the cotton and create the stem of union of the flower.

Insert the iron wire in the first initial chain of the pistil and then insert it into the flower. Also insert the glass and cover the small stem with the cotton, working the chains around it. The remaining wire will be used to tie the flower to the main stem.

Do the same work for the medium flower and the small flower as well. The small flower does not need a pistil.

For the bud cut about 10 cm of galvanized iron wire and insert the 2 ends at the beginning of the bud. Twist the iron wire on itself for about 1 cm to create the connection stem. Insert the glass and cover the stem with cotton.

Cut a piece of plasticized iron wire of the appropriate length and thickness for the work being carried out. Curve a point with the help of pliers to form a knot.

Work a bud up to the second round. Insert the stem into the bud. Close the second round with the knot of the stem inside. Continue with the third round of the bud and close the piece. Insert the glass.

Fasten all buds, small flowers, medium flowers and large flowers to the stem.

Start from the top of the stem and then from the buds.

2nd round: 1 single crochet, 2 half double crochet in one point, 2 double crochet in one point, 8 double crochet (make 3 increases), 3 double crochet, 3 half double crochet, 5 single crochet. Repeat the same on the other side in reverse.

Cut a piece of galvanized iron wire that goes around the complete leaf plus another 3 cm more on each side. Insert it to the leaf by working a round of single crochet around it.

Stretch the leaf well, shaping it with your hands, twist the iron wire on itself for about 2 cm. Cover the connecting stem created with the cotton by working the chains around it. The remaining wire will be used to tie the leaf to the main stem.

Explanation of the large leaf

Start 30 chains.

1st round: 1 single crochet, 1 half double crochet, 1 double crochet, 9 double crochet, 5 double crochet, 5 half double crochet, 7 single crochet. Repeat the same way on the other side of the chains starting from the 7 single stitches.

Make all the leaves you need for your composition.

Fasten the medium leaves and then the large ones to the stem, just below the flowers.

Cover the stem with cotton by working the chains around it, except for about 3 cm which will be inserted into the vase.
